Remote schedule

  • On days when students are not in person, each student will be expected to interact with their teacher and classmates during each period of the day.

  • Attendance will be taken for each class.

  • Students will use either their own technology, or a school-issued iPad or Chromebook to login to virtual instruction daily and complete their assignments

  • All schedules of instruction will be emailed to students and families and posted on school and class websites.

  • Each day of remote instruction will consist of a variety of asynchronous and synchronous learning activities, facilitated by our dedicated teachers.

  • Each day teachers will have scheduled time to communicate with families and students.

  • Each week teachers will have scheduled time to work with students in small groups, one-on-one or for office hours.

Technical Information/Logistics

  • At any time, families can opt their child into 100% remote learning. To sign up for 100% remote learning, you can email Ms. Waters at mswaters@highbridgegreen.com.

  • If you have any technical issues, including but not limited to:

    • Logging in

    • Not able to upload work

    • Teacher not seeing work

    • Not getting assignments back

  • All classes will utilize Google Classroom and a Highbridge Green School email address to access their assignments:

    • Students are required to check their Highbridge email addresses daily.

    • Teachers will post assignments and give feedback weekly (but will meet with students daily either in person or via Google Meet).

    • Students will receive monthly progress reports, and parents (who provide us with their email address) will receive regular summary emails from Google Classroom.

    • Students and families will be able to access student grades using their PupilPath account.

    • Student assignments can be found in the Google Classroom App and on the Class Website.
